Acadian Flycatcher

Empidonax virescens

The Canadian range of this small olive-gray bird with yellow underparts is found in southern Ontario. A slightly larger head proportional to body and large, white-rimmed eyes give flycatchers a distinctive appearance, but one flycatcher species is difficult to distinguish from another.
