White Wood Aster

Aster divaricatus

The Canadian populations of the white wood aster occur in Ontario and Quebec. Almost all the locations are threatened with habitat loss from activities such as snowmobiling on receational trails and the development of a golf course and landfill. There is currently no recovery plan for this unprotected threatened species.
