Dendroica cerulea

The male cerulean warbler is a deep greyish-blue above, with white underparts streaked with dark grey and a white throat, as well as two white bands on the shoulder; the female is similar, but with a lighter greenish-blue on the head and shoulder and a yellowish-grey throat. This species prefers tall treetops, especially in wetlands or near lakes. In Canada, the cerulean warbler is found in the mixed wood plains ecozone.
