van Brunt's Jacob's Ladder

Polemonium van-bruntiae

Van Brunt's jacob's ladder is a perennial herb found in Quebec. Thought to be relics of the last ice age, the plant requires a humid environment with a cool climate and open to partially-shaded areas subject to seasonal flooding. Residential development and road construction are the main threats to this jacob's ladder, which occurs exclusively on private land.
