Long-Horned Caddisflies

Larvae construct cases from twigs or sand grains. Some cases are long and tapering, others are cornucopia-shaped. The adults are usually found near water and can be very abundant when they emerge. These are small, pale coloured caddisflies with very long antennae, sometimes much longer than the body.
