Leaf-Footed Bugs Family Coreidae
Coreids are mainly phytophagous (plant-eating), although some species are predaceous. They have well-developed scent glands and most species give off a distinct odour when handled. These are medium to large, somewhat elongate bugs. They are usually dark coloured. Many species have the hind legs thickened or expanded and leaf-like.
