Sitka Mouse

Peromyscus sitkensis

In most ways, this mouse is similar to the deer mouse. It is found under logs and rotting stumps along the beaches of the western coniferous forests and coastal islands, where it devours small mollusks and crustaceans, as well as berries and seeds.
