Pink Coreopsis

Coreopsis rosea

The pink coreopsis is a perennial herb found in Nova Scotia. It occurs on gently-sloping sand or gravel lake shorelines. The destruction of habitat due to cottage development, and trampling by off-road vehicles, are major threats for pink coreopsis and the control of water levels interferes with the natural processes necessary to its survival.
