Eastern Mountain Avens

Geum pecki

The eastern mountain avens is a perennial herb, flowering from June to August. In Canada, it only occurs on Brier Island and Digby Neck, Nova Scotia, in boggy terrain. Encroachment by other vegetation is the main threat to the avens, and no specific protection exists for it.
