Oregon Spotted Frog

Rana pretiosa

The spotted frog inhabits much of British Columbia and western Alberta. It is generally aquatic, living in streams, rivers, marshes, and lakes. It will also move into adjacent meadows or woods to feed on insects and other invertebrates. The spotted frog breeds in february and march, laying its eggs in shallow water.
