Round-leaved Greenbrier

Smilax rotundfolia

This member of the lily family occurs in southern Ontario. Round-leaved greenbrier prefers moist, shaded woodland with moderate temperature and precipitation. Forest clearing and alteration of drainage patterns contiue to destroy the plant's habitat.
