Nodding Pogonia

Triphora trianthophora

The nodding pogonia's Canadian range is limited to two populations in southwestern Ontario. It is tolerant of shade and loves moisture, growing in rich, humid woodlands. The pogonia is at risk from trampling, collection, and grazing. There is no protection specific to the species.
