Indian Plantain

Cacalia plantaginea

The Indian plantain is a perennial plant found in five locations in southern Ontario. It requires wet meadows or shorelines. The continued expansion of surrounding cottages is a threat to the species. Most sites are on private land, although some are protected on public parkland.
