Bolander's Quillwort

Isoëtes bolanderi

Two populations of Bolander's quillwort occur in Canada within the southwestern portion of Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta. Degradation of habitat through recreational activities, toxic spills from the surrounding oil industry, and invasive species, are all limiting factors for this rare plant.
