Spotted Wintergreen

Chimaphila maculata

In Canada, the spotted wintergreen is only found four populations in central and southwestern Ontario. Most of the sites are near recreational trails, where the plants are vulnerable to dirt bikes, ATVs and other vehicles. There is no protection specific to the spotted wintergreen in Canada.
