Victorin's Water Hemlock

Cicuta maculata victorinii

Victorin's water hemlock is a perennial herb found in the St. Lawrence seaway of Quebec. It grows in the area that is inundated at high tide, and is linked to the patterns of the tide with the high water mark as the limit of its habitat. Loss of habitat is the main limiting factor for the plant, which receives no protection.
